Applewood Vegan, part of Norseland’s portfolio, is reintroducing its first-ever snacking cheeze in a new stick format.
The multi-award-winning brand had launched circular Mini cheeze across Morrisons stores earlier this year.
Now the tasty treats will return as Applewood Vegan Bites in January 2024.
From breakfast on the go to quick lunch at the office or a pre-gym snack, the bites aim to fit seamlessly into everyday routines.
Ffion Davies, senior brand manager for Applewood Vegan, said: “The Minis are the first-ever snacking format for Applewood Vegan and they have proved very popular with food lovers.
“However, following feedback from fans of the Minis, we decided to launch them in a new snack-friendly stick version – Bites – to make it easier for people to enjoy them on the go, in the office or on the way to gym.
“They are also the perfect, healthy addition to lunchboxes.”
Another major transition is the move towards fully recyclable packaging by 2024, showcasing the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
Toni Vernelli, international head of policy and communications of Veganuary, welcomed the initiative.
She said: “We all have the power to make the world a little kinder and greener this new year by trying vegan for January.
“It’s great to see companies like Applewood embracing this opportunity and providing tasty, satisfying, sustainable options for the growing number of conscious consumers.”
Applewood Vegan and Applewood is part Norseland, the UK’s number one blended cheese supplier with its headquarters based in Ilchester.
The new Minis product is full of essential nutrients like B12 and calcium, and is coconut-based, free from dairy, lactose, soya, gluten and palm oil.
Customers can find them at Morrisons, Asda, and Booths stores across the UK, retailing at £2.
