THE community turned out in force for the Merriman Park Fun Day in Street on Saturday (September 3).
The nine-hour annual event running from 1pm to 10pm raised money for the local park.
There were more stalls than ever before, food and drink, music and performances.
Among the entertainment were fighting Vikings, acrobatic Cirque de Silk, Dragon Drummers from Glastonbury, a disco, a circus performer, mini rugby, Morris Men and more.
A spokesperson for the fun day said: “Thank you to all the volunteers who spent nearly 17 hours in the park, walking an average 20,000 steps to bring you another superb day.”
