St Mary Magdalene Church, became a Minster in March 2022. This new title reflects its widening work engaging in civic life; as a hub in the west of the Diocese of Bath & Wells; as a major heritage attraction; and in serving the community and business life of Taunton.
The Minster is centrally located in the heart of the town, with public parking adjacent to the church.
We worship three times every Sunday as well as during the week. Visitors and newcomers are very welcome at all our services and any other aspect of our church life.
We are able to offer local small groups a meeting space in our ‘Upper Room’ and the Minster is also a popular and stunning venue for concerts.
